Episode 16: Ari Squire (Scorpio)
Join us this week as Meredith takes us to Lake Barrington, Illinois circa 2008 to tell the story of the “death” of Ari Squire. A local businessman and “power puller” found dead in his 2300 square foot garage under let’s say more than suspicious circumstances. We spend a moment feeling bad that Ari’s garage is larger than our houses, go on a brief tangent on power pulling, and speculate about the compatibility of Ari (Scorpio) and his wife Denise (Virgo).
Virgo and Scorpio are generally very compatible signs. Virgo is attracted to the intensity of Scorpio and Scorpio is attracted to the practicality of Virgo. Together, they can bring out the best in each other. They are both intensely emotional beings, although they try to hide this side of themselves because they are afraid of being vulnerable. In a relationship, these two signs can learn to be open with each other as, in the end, they both want the same thing: a happy, healthy, and passionate bond.
Please contact us and let Hannah know what John Grisham book she’s thinking about!
On August 3, Venus in Virgo is trine with Uranus in Taurus and we love trines! This aspect could bring excitement and joy to our relationships, or maybe even a financial boost (although try to avoid accepting jobs from someone like Ari Squire)!
August 3rd is a busy day, astrologically speaking, as Mercury in Leo also goes square with Uranus in Taurus. With this aspect, we may tend towards nervousness in the face of a lot of excitement, so try not to be overwhelmed by the all the potential good things that could be coming your way.
Then on August 6, the Sun in Leo goes square with Uranus in Taurus. This is a bit of a foreboding one; changes are coming and they may not be the ones you want, which can cause a lot tension, unpredictibility, and potential chaos.
It’s a busy week, so one more thing happens on August 8, when the New Moon is in Leo. New moons are times for a fresh start. Leo is a big, bold sign so this lunation encourages us to dream big and go after what you desire. This is an excellent day to start a new project.
Food Pairing: Hannah’s big goals of eating Italian food fell through, so there is no picture of her dream Italian dinner. She did go to a steakhouse instead and got absolutely shit-faced on some incredibly strong cocktails, so not a total loss. So there’s three options for the food pairing this week: eat a steak, drink some strong cocktails, or eat some Italian food and make Hannah feel extremely jealous.
