Episode 35 - Washington Murders
Join us this week for a total hodgepodge. This special episode is a spill over from last week’s recording. We were just having so much fun with our special guest Marty from the Plans are Optional podcast. The drinks were plentiful and so is crime in Washington. Meredith shares with us the unsolved 1985 Tube Sock Murders. Hannah takes us to Marty’s hometown of Walla Walla known for wine and the Washington State Penitentiary. Hannah tells us about the tragic death of Whitman College employee Kyle Martz and the brutal slaying of Art Gugler by the “Bad-Ventist” Josh Nickell.
For astrology, we talk about the characteristics of an unevolved Gemini. Also this week, on 12/13 Mars enters Sagittarius and Mercury enters Capricorn. Later in the week on 12/18, there will be a full moon in Gemini.
Food Pairing: Peek behind the curtain: We recorded this episode immediately after recording Episode 34 as we were drinking and feeling good about it. By that logic, last week’s cocktails still apply.
